Jambu finished
The winner of the second stage, as well as the entire Mini-Transat transatlantic race in the Proto division, was French racer Francois Jambu (865): 2700 nautical miles from Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria to the town of Le Maren in Martinique in 12 days, 2 hours, 27 minutes and 7 seconds.
The 35-year-old Jambu took the lead on the second day of the race – and so no one could compete with him. An impressive success, which, according to the winner, can and should even change his life.
Axel Tren (945) finished second in the division – more than 12 hours after Jambu with the result of 12 days, 15 hours, 18 minutes and 54 seconds.
The rest of the division's yachtsmen are still at a distance. Including our Fedor Druzhinin (759), who is on the 18th. He has 655 miles to go.
In the Serie division, the leader – Italian Ambrogio Beccaria (943) – will reach the finish line today. He has to overcome 62 miles.
