Irisha Heesen yacht for cinestetico

The winner of the trophy for the best interior design, Irisha created for those who perceive the world through touch

Sporty profile, a powerful nose, large — actually, the biggest in the history of yacht building — curved glass on a raised wheelhouse. In the Assembly of superyachts Monaco exhibition from the heat when the brain begins to melt, and all viewed the yacht to merge into one bright, but a blur, the 51-metre Heesen Irisha stands out and instantly recognizable. Despite the fact that it is not the greatest and its not even 100% custom — built on proven and well-established 50-metre platform. To her Heesen has released seven largest aluminium semi-displacement boats.

Despite the fact that below the waterline the “Iresi” everything is the same as that of her cousins, the whole superstructure is completely redesigned in accordance with the project Eidsgaard Harrison (Harrison Eidsgaard), created in close cooperation with the owner. And the owner was not willing to compromise.

How I managed to see the exhibition in Monaco, Irisha is remembered not only in appearance. Its interior is a perfect balance between versatility and originality.

The exterior of this boat is not knocks down, as, for example, Tankoa Solo with her avant-garde sculptures and chess pieces with a height of half a person. Don’t you think you went to the Museum, where you’ll be attacked by a Ranger for damage antique chair his fifth point, as in CRN Latona.

Irisha — not wow-boat. But this is not one of the boring, standardized yacht for Charter, with their classical layout and lackluster design.

She will conquer gradually, deck by deck detail by detail, you accidentally book her for the weekend. And during the holidays. And for the entire vacation.

But Irisha was originally conceived as a Charter.

“The owner decided to surrender its Charter only for the week prior to acceptance,” says Sarah Gonola (Sara Gioanola), head of PR Heesen.

Commercial certification imposes on builders of certain obligations, and the more the internal volumes of a yacht, the these obligations are stricter. So “Irisha” has got removable glass panels for winter garden that are in season are stored on the shore that allows the specs to keep up with such necessary to Charter the level of internal volumes less than 500 GRT. In a cold time of the year panel is repositioned and a winter garden turns from open to closed.

Sliding doors from floor to ceiling with one hand separate the Conservatory from the aft deck, on the other — from the more formal dining room. Sun loungers aft unusually raised, what was done on the basis of two considerations: first, to the campers next to the sofas could look sunbathing right in the eye and not from the top down, and secondly, to increase the ceiling height of the tender garage deck below. When the tender is launched, the bottom is formed a beach club with sauna, shower and massage table.

But back to the main deck. After passing the winter garden, we enter the dining room. And without long dining table here we have a side section that allows you to arrange a dinner party at the same time for twenty two guests.

Further, the standard zonation: left — the door to the crew accommodation, to the right — output in a surprisingly spacious for a 51-metre atrium, where intricately curving handrail stretches across three decks of the staircase as if floating in the air with railings of curved glass. Here same — day latrine with unusual mirror from metal.

The door to the crew accommodation leads to a spacious pantry and galley, where conjures chef Charly.

“This boat is the best of those on which I worked,” he admits. “I have a small garden,” adds Kok, pointing at the pots with rosemary, thyme, Basil and oregano.

On the interiors of “Irishy” worked the same team that the owner hired to rework his previous ship — the 44 metre MY Petra built by Heesen in 2009, for the company’s founder Franz Chisena (Frans Heesen). Photos of “Petra” as pictures of first love, hanging on the walls of one of the interior Irisha.

Color scheme interior spaces are quite traditional — beige, light grey, dark grey with occasional accents of colour of a sea wave, like the original color of the hull: they say its color changes from blue to green depending on how the light falls.

The highlight of the interior Irisha recognized as the best in World Yachts Trophies in 2018, combined with the textures.

Soft carpets, fabrics with a distinct structure, textured walls finished in Venetian plaster from British magicians DKT Atworks — with all that want to interact as long as possible.

Special riot of textures in the master cabin, located forward on the main deck, where the head of the bed, covered with chic fur blanket is gorgeous panels of hand-made hand-made silk fabrics that mimic the ragged storm clouds and silver rain. A panel created by Dutch artist Claudie Jongstra (Claudy Jongstra).

The left of the bed — light vanity for the lady. For the master has a private office in a simple grey tones with large Windows.

For the opposite wall — a bathroom with two entrances, separate sinks and walk-in showers for two, a Hammam and a center of gravity which is a separately standing shared bathroom in lacquered Wenge wood. Everywhere in the bathroom — marble and onyx.

Complements the master Suite has already become a must-haves Smoking balcony, a huge advantage which is the ability to use it not only on Parking but also on the go.

The four guest cabins located on the lower deck. Wall with beautiful abstract pattern, made Italian craftsman and covered with a layer of epoxy separates the cabins with two single beds. The picture on the wall in each cabin unique.

But there’s this wall and another secret: by pressing the button it goes to the bulkhead, forming two one large VIP cabin full width of the hull.

A couple of single beds can be transformed into one double bed, and come and go not only beds, but also a panel in the headboard, so notice that they were produced by some manipulation — is impossible.

A raised wheelhouse and skylounge form the top deck of “Irishy”. High bridge is a very good review — not just because he raised, but by using as glazing a huge curved piece of glass that goes on there, which usually already starts on the roof. Night illumination panel control creates a sense that the instrument “floating” in the air.

Skylounge is used primarily as a place for watching movies and football matches. The screen and projector out of the ceiling, home theatre system complemented by sound system from California Audio Technology. The bar countertop is made of wood, polished and covered in gold paint, and then filled with epoxy to protect it from damage. The composition is supplemented by a coffee table from a solid piece of wood.

On the stern sofa with a bizarre “wings”, curved inwards. The owner asked the place where all the guests could chat, while sitting face to face.

On the side walkways you can reach the nose, where there is another sofa with a table. This area can be covered from the sun and wind lifting the awning on the hydraulics.

The sandek is a nightlife deck “Iresi”. Here you find the Jacuzzi surrounded by sun loungers and a large bar with Seating for eight people.

The maximum speed of the yacht passport — 25 knots, but the sea trials of her squeezed and more 26.

Irisha faster than other boats Heesen on the same platform: its chassis was retrofitted to meet the brief of the owner. It’s perfect for travel across the Mediterranean in a big company, but to use the boat for longer voyages in a narrow range: at 15 knots the stock of its progress without refueling is 2425 nodes.

The cost of renting Irisha through SuperYachtsMonaco is from 280 to 300 thousand euros per week.
