Today at the world championship RS:X Championships, held in St. Petersburg, will start the final race. Recall that the competitions are held on the waters of the Neva Bay and in the Park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg turned the race village.

Over three days of racing of the world championship in Windsurfing in Saint Petersburg revealed himself to racers in all its glory. Every day the weather regime in the Neva Bay water area has changed 360 degrees: from practically squalls on the first day until the full calm in the third day.

On Thursday, the force of the wind was only 2-3 node that has not allowed the organizers to hold a single race. However, windsurfers are not missed and quite fun to spend time on the beach. Fun – beach volleyball and football, hanging out with friends, sunbathing and swimming.

Our beach is equipped with volleyball courts. You can play volleyball, football or entertain in the race village, says windsurfer from the Academy of sailing of the Yacht club of Saint-Petersburg Andrey Spiridonov. – All very cool – we shoot there a lot, have a good time and developing links with athletes from other countries to the Dating world. The French are very cool doing challenges with the toss of a bottle. The omanis play volleyball like they are preparing for the world Cup.

In free day the omanis really made a splash on the volleyball court. “We used to play volleyball in the homeland, explained Mohammed Nabil al Balushi. In Oman observe the Holy month of Ramadan, which we are forbidden to do any physical activity until sunset. So that night we’re playing volleyball, not football, because volleyball does not need lighting, gate and special markings. This is a more accessible sport”.

Due to the lack of racing’s position in the standings has not changed. In the men’s competition in the first place is the Israeli Ial Yochai Sror (10 points). Behind him was his compatriot Daniel Testas (13). Among girls, the leader of the French Manon Planasa (14 points), second and third places were Israeli Naama Greenberg and Lina geva (both 17).
