      Indeed, the champion!
      On Lake Garda in Italy ended the famous regatta Garda Meeting Optimist. The winner among juniors (athletes of 2004 – 2008) was the host of the competition, the current world champion Marco Gradoni (in the first picture).

Recall that 1164 young sailors from 40 countries took part in the regatta.

In six qualifying and two final races (with one shot) Gradoni scored 10 points. His series is impressive: 4 – 1 – 1 – 1 – (6) – 1 – 1 – 1. Indeed, the champion!

Among Russians, Kirill Shunenkov showed the best result – 17th place, parishes 1 – 13 – 18 – 4 – 27 – 2 – 2 – (79) – 29. The first hundred among juniors also hit: 29. Fedor Krivobokov. … 33. Artem Maksimkin. … 84. Danila Ivanov.

The cadets (athletes of 2009 and 2010 birth) from the first to the last race were led by Brazilian Eric Scheidt. Its sum is 10 points, revenues: 1 – 1 – 3 – 1 – 1 – (8) – 1 – 2.

Our Yaroslav Snimchikov took the 37th place among the cadets.
