"I left the yacht and started to walk!"
The press service of the Komatek Provincial Yacht Club talks about a press conference that will take place in Yekaterinburg in a few days.
“The experience of inclusive regattas has shown us the unique results of the socialization of people with disabilities,” said Oleg Kolpashchikov, head of the White Cane social movement. “The episode of last year’s competition on the Verkh-Isetsky pond, when a girl with disabilities, a member of the regatta, left the yacht and started walking, putting crutches aside, remained forever in memory. She finally believed in herself, and before that she went to a rehabilitation center for seven years. Therefore, it is not by chance that the regatta is called “Sails of the Spirit”.
