“Heroes” – the third

In Miami ended the world championship in the yacht class Melges 20. “Russian heroes” Igor Rytov (Konstantin Besputin, Anton Sergeev) won bronze.

In ten races (with one outlier), Russian Bogatyrs scored 44 points, parishes 3 – 4 – 6 – 3 – 4 – 11 – (19) – 1 – 3 – 9. The world champion was the Italian team STIG (skipper Alessandro Romelli) with 34 points, second place went to American Hartbreaker Robert Hughes – 41.

Another boat under the Russian flag – “Nika” of Vladimir Prosikhin – in fifth position: 58 points, parishes 4 – 17 – 10 – 1 – 8 – 2 – 5 – 9 – (20) – 2.
