From July 26 to August 5
The Organizing Committee of the 2020 Games in Tokyo announced the full schedule of the Olympic competitions, which will be held from July 24 to August 9.
It is clear that we are primarily interested in the competition of yachtsmen. So, they will start at the Olympic Sailing Center on Enoshima Island on July 26, and will end on August 5.
All days (with the exception of the last two) the race will begin at 12.00 am on Tokyo time and continue until 18.00. It should be borne in mind that the difference between Tokyo and Moscow is 6 hours. So, Moscow time, the Olympic sailing broadcast will begin at 6 am.
The first – on July 26 – representatives of four disciplines – RS: X (men), RS: X (women), Laser and Laser Radial will enter the fight for the awards of the Games in Tokyo.
The first medal race will take place on August 1 – two sets of awards will be played by windsurfing masters. Further, the schedule of medal racing is: August 2 -), Laser and Laser Radial; August 3 – 49er and 49er FX; August 4 – Finn and Nacra 17; August 5 – 470 (men) and 470 (women).
