      Four seconds …
The 40th Rolex Middle Sea Race is coming to an end. Curious events took place in the most massive division – IRC 6, where 25 vessels competed.

Four seconds ...

Last year, we recall, in this division, our JPK 10.80 Rossko Timofey Zhbankov won. The Russian team then ahead of the French JPK 10.80 Solenn of Louis Gerard in the adjusted time by 30 minutes.

Now the two teams have swapped places. Solenn is the first in the division, Rossko is the second. At the same time, the lag in the adjusted time is only 4 seconds! At a distance of more than 600 nautical miles !!!

“For almost the entire race we walked as if connected by an invisible rope,” Gerard remarked after the race. – We could only get ahead at the finish line. But four hundredths of a second … All this, of course, is amazing! ”
