In Lagos in the South of Portugal on Sunday ended the world championship in the class high-speed catamaran hydrofoil GC32.
World champion another two races before the end of the regatta was the Swiss team Alinghi (owned by Ernesto Bertarelli, helmsman – Arno Parapagus), collected in the amount of 57 points. On the advantage of Alinghi says, for example, such fact: she was the first in 8 out of 18 races.
In second place is another famous Swiss team Team Tilt won the world Cup GC32 last year (74 points). On the third (78) – the British Rebels of INEOS UK, headed by sir Ben Ainslie.
