Ferretti Group buys Wally Yachts.
This deal will cost the group €25-30 million, according to a leading Italian financial newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Ferretti Group many months negotiated with the Monegasque shipyard, founded by Luca Bassani (Luca Bassani). Recently, the group managed to come to terms with Wally Yachts. The company intends to declare its offer to buy manufacturer of sailing yachts in September, in conjunction with the event to yacht exhibitions in Cannes and Monaco.
As stated by the Corriere della Sera, the head of the Ferretti Group Alberto Galassi (Alberto Galassi), the transaction for the purchase of Wally Yachts can be closed in the beginning of next year, “if the conditions are met for the underlying agreement.”
“We are very important this deal is, because this is an exceptional brand, very synergistic with other brands in the Ferretti group. But it is quite a difficult operation,” said Galassi, adding that now negotiations on the purchase of his “absolute harmony” with the founder and President of Wally, Luca Bassani.
When the transaction is closed, Wally Yachts sailing will become the first brand in the cage of the Ferretti Group. The group includes the manufacturers of luxury motor yachts like Ferretti, Riva, Itama, Custom Line, Pershing, Mochi Craft, CRN.
