The creation of the Feadship Refit & Services an important step in the implementation of the new strategy customer support “My Feadship”. The initiative was announced this week at the forum Superyacht Forum.

The new company will unite all areas of after-sales service – refit, repair and service.

They have traditionally been assigned to three shipyards in the Netherlands, Feadship owned directly (Aalsmeer, Makkum and Kaag), plus engineering center Feadship De Voogt. Now Feadship Refit & Services will rise over them, and on the fourth Feadship Doc. It opens in Amsterdam in may 2019.

Combining a full range of services previously offered separately by Feadship, the program “My Feadship” stands on three pillars: Feadship Rebuild (refit docks in Dutch), Feadship Services Network (partnership with the four leading shipyards in the Mediterranean and USA) and Feadship Authentication Certificate (quality standard for new and existing boats).

Under the new program, the restructuring of Feadship will occur at the shipyard in Holland, and global service and modernization at different points of the globe on third party sites to Feadship signed an agreement that Amico & Co (Italy), Monaco Marine (France), MB92 (Spain) and Rybovich (USA). For its part Feadship ensures to provide them with full technical support.

“It is a pity when the best superyachts are maintained on a suboptimal level, that undermines their original value. These shipyards were chosen because of their excellent reputation and the fact that Feadship has successfully worked with them in previous projects,” says Pierre Posthuma de Boer (Pier Posthuma de Boer), Director of the Feadship Refit & Services.

the third component of the program, Feadship Authentication Certificate (authentication certificate) is a kind of official quality mark, a guarantee that the buyer of a used boat Feadship becomes that worthy name brand.

Of course, for the seller this document is important from the point of view of maintaining a high resale value. Get it all new yachts, and any information about the next service or revite will be reflected in the certificate.

The owners have already launched boats could invite inspection to check and ensure that service standards are respected Feadship in recent years.
