      Everything is online!
Our old friends and partners from the company "Wind Power" are not those who expect favors from nature, and even more so from the coronavirus. Any problems are only a plus if there is a goal. Classes on the theory of the school of captains will now be held online! Here is how the school will be arranged in a new format:

Everything is online!

Education at the school of captains usually takes place in two stages. First you need to learn the theory in the classroom at the office of "Wind Power" in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and then go on a trip to a yacht practice. The epidemiological situation inspired us to realize a long-held dream – to learn yachting theory online.

Globally, nothing will change. In addition to the fact that now classes will not need to go. Lectures and seminars will be held in the Zoom application, all questions can be asked to the teacher personally after the lesson, and for group discussions we will make special chats. Online format bonus – due to the time saved on moving we made lectures of teachers a little longer and more detailed.

We understood and accepted the important rule of the era of the coronavirus: the more people stay at home now, the faster we will all be on yachts, so we try to do our best so that the time spent inside the apartment is useful and full of new experiences.

The online format deprives weekly meetings with classmates, but it allows you not to miss anything and finish your studies on time even in quarantine and self-isolation, and also expands the geography of the school of captains: you can now connect to lectures and seminars from anywhere in the world.

All classes will continue to be taught by our teachers – professional yachtsmen who have released more than one generation of young captains – Nikolai Pismensky and Vladimir Ganson. The schedule also does not change: the standard course runs on weekdays twice a week, and intensively on weekends. The next starts are on April 4 and 7. To sign up and find out more, go to the school page.

After the end of the online course, each group will have its own large session with analysis of the final test so that there are no questions about the course materials. After passing the test, you can choose any dates of practice, the calendar of which is easy to find on the site. Let's not lose time while the epidemic is raging, and get a lot of new knowledge that will come in handy on the way to the dream.
