Elf won in Monaco!
The Russian Elf (Mikhail and Maxim Sheremetyevs, Pavel Sysoyev and Mikhail Chegurov) won the J70 class regatta, which ended today in Monaco as part of the 36th Primo Cup Sailing Festival – Trophée Credit Suisse.
We especially note: for the first time, Russians managed to excel in the Primo Cup on the J70 in the entire history of this regatta. Congratulations from Yacht Russia!
For three days of competition, the organizers managed to spend only 4 races, and Elf took the lead on Friday. As a result, the team scored 12 points (arrivals 2 – 2 – 2 – 6).
In second place is the Swiss Cer Arrotec Nelson Mettro (26 points), in third – the Monaco G-Spottino Gianjacomo Serena.
Amaiz Vyacheslav Martynov, performing under the flag of Cyprus, in 5th place – 44 points.

In total, 65 J70 yachts took part in the regatta.
Also in Monaco there was a regatta in the Melges 20 class, but there were only 6 participants, four of them competed under the Russian flag, and two more under the flag of Monaco, but all the skippers were our compatriots. There were also 4 races. According to their results, Olga Reps Valentina Zavadnikova, who represented Monaco, won – 12 points, arrivals 3 – 5 – 3 – 1. Alex Team Alexander Mikhailik became the second – 13 points. The third –Path (Monaco) of Anatoly Karachinsky – 14.
