The shipyard Benetti reported the sale of Diamond 145, the first case of a 44-meter series, whose name translates into Russian as “diamond”. The yacht was announced during last year’s Cannes yachting festival.
Construction of the First Diamond 145 (serial number BP001) to Viareggio began even before had found a buyer.
“Diamond 145 was presented only four months ago, but already in the design phase, we realized that it is a model with incredible potential,” said Franco Russia (Franco Fusignani), CEO of Italian Benetti.
The design of the yacht took much more time than searching for a buyer. Designer Giorgio M. Cassetta (Giorgio M. Cassetta) worked on the appearance of Diamond 145 for three years. In the end the boat got unusual displacement yachts sports features.
“We worked through every detail of the project to create a boat that would be extremely luxurious and practical,” notes Giorgio M. Cassetta.

Galley and service area of the crew are located at midship, a roomy saloon aft. Dining room moved to the upper deck and four double guest staterooms, the space on the bottom.
