Climbed one step
According to the results of the second race day of the European Youth Championship in classes 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17, which continues in Vilamoura (Portugal), Zoya Novikova and Diana Sabirova climbed one step in the table and now occupy third place.
After seven races in the 49erFX class (three were held yesterday), Zoe and Diana had 24 points (with one throw), arrivals 5 – 2 – 3 – (11) – 2 – 8 – 4.
The leaders are Willemijn Offerman and Elise de Ruyter (Holland) – 14 points. In second place is the crew from Germany, Inga-Maria Hofmann / Alisa Engelmann – 21 points.
In the 49er class, triple power. Thomas and Mads Mathisen from Norway, Nick Robins and Sam Batten (Great Britain) and Poles Mikolay Stayul and Jakub Storh scored 35 points after seven races.
Daniil Usachev and Ilya Ganeev occupy the 16th place: 78 points, arrivals 14 – (22) – 8 – 13 – 21 – 11 – 11. Vasily Andreev and Leonid Pushev – on the 21st position: 108 points, arrivals 10 – 23 – 15 – 21 – 24 – 17 – 22.
In the Nacra 17 class, the Dutch crew of Cas Vann Dongen / Bjarne Bower is still ahead: 9 points after seven races (with one throw). There are no Russian representatives.
