Chasing Beiu
Less than 200 miles are left to the leaders of the Vendée-Arctic-les Sables d’Olonne race. And who will be the first at the finish line is still impossible to predict.
According to data on Tuesday morning, 44-year-old French racer Jeremy Beiu is the first to go to Charal. Three miles behind Tom Roy on LinkledOut, and closes the top three Charlie Dalen on APIVIA, 8 miles behind the leader.
No weather surprises are expected in the Bay of Biscay – in the near future an even northerly wind of 12-15 knots will be established there. Boats go at a good speed of 19-20 knots. Le Sables d’Olonne is expected to arrive at midnight today.
Recall that the racers have been fighting hard for almost 10 days and now the price of an error can be very high.
