CdM dared to enter the market of custom superyachts with a 42-metre Audace

The flagship of 42.8-meter yacht Audace from shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has touched water. The event took place in Ancona — a port city off the coast of the Adriatic sea (Italy).

Paripalana Audace, which translates as “audacity”, completely created by the individual order. The owner wanted to get the boat on Board which will be able to spend all 365 days of the year.

Audace, formerly known as Project K42, the first custom Explorer from CdM.

“Audace is a very good proof of technical and organizational possibilities of CdM. The performance of the individual unit of the project was a challenge we were willing to accept. Many new projects are under development,” — says Ennio Cecchini (Ennio Cecchini), co-founder and CEO of CdM.

The layout provides accommodation for up to 10 guests, inclusive. For them are reserved four cabins (on the lower and main decks). Two on the bottom — with balconies, two on the main — direct access to the side walkways. In turn, the master apartment is located separately on the upper deck. The quantitative composition of the crew — a maximum of nine people.

As the client wanted, the boat had two disco club to dance the night away. To feed a big company called two chefs, who — equipped galley.

The bulk of water toys stored on the front deck. Then “parked” off-road Land Rover Defender and a BMW motorcycle, a tender for the crew. The second tender, the larger one located aft of the main deck. He descends into the water with a 2.7-metre crane.

Engine room and fuel tanks are located on a separate “technical” deck. Audace is equipped with two Caterpillar engines C32 Acert EPA SWAC T3. The cruising range at 10 knots is 5400 nautical miles. The fuel tanks hold 62 000 liters of fuel. At 10 knots the boat was able to go 5400 miles.

Design Studio Floating Life in the face of Pezzini Andrea (Andrea Pezzini) and Mauro sculli (Mauro Sculli) from Studio Sculli was responsible for the design and naval architecture Audace. Design and development rests on the shoulders of HydroTec and personally Sergio Cutolo (Sergio Cutolo).
Domenico Ranieri (Ranieri Domenico) acted as the project Manager and the customer’s interests are entrusted to represent Pezzini.
