Buster boats. Season 2020

Introducing the 2020 Buster, a comfortable and seaworthy boat powered by reliable Yamaha outboard motors.

The Finnish brand Buster, known for its reliable, seaworthy and unpretentious aluminum alloy boats, is a typically northern brand. In the Mediterranean, you are unlikely to find such, but in Northern Europe – as much as you like. About 80% of the production is exported from Finland – to Sweden, Norway, Germany and Russia. In 2016, the brand became part of Yamaha Corporation. In addition to the eponymous outboard motors, which are now equipped with all Buster boats, this gave the brand more opportunities to develop and release new models.

Buster XXL

A sports boat for those who value both speed and space. If you were interested in the Buster range, then you probably know the XL model, which the shipyard has been producing with modifications since 1992. The reason for its popularity is the very good geometry of the case. The XXL model also inherited it, but, as the name implies, it is even more spacious.

The Buster XXL is good for outdoor activities and feels confident at high speed even in a decent wave – thanks to the noticeable deadlift on the transom (19 °) and high sides. And the Buster Q multifunctional monitor provides a new level of interaction with the boat: monitoring systems and planning a route with it is very simple.

Fuel supply:

Weight without PM:
840 kg

Engine:
115-150 HP

Capacity:
8 people

With two large cockpits, the Buster XXL is designed for eight people who will not be cramped: at the helm there are shock-absorbing seats, and in the stern there is a sofa. The basic equipment is already quite rich, but as an option it is worth adding a running awning, which will make the open boat all-weather. The classic Buster XXL double-cantilever layout in combination with a door in the windshield for access to the bow cockpit makes the boat convenient for spinning fishing too. The boat can be transported on a single-axle trailer equipped with brakes: the bottom is securely fixed by two cradles.

The boat is available in two modifications: with Yamaha F130A and F150D engines. The first with a capacity of 130 liters. from. is good with a large cruising range, and the second (150 hp) gives the boat a maximum speed of 78 km / h.

Buster cabin

This novelty is addressed to those who consider the boat not only as a means of transportation. The almost seven-meter Buster Cabin is quite capable of long hikes, even with an overnight stay, and not necessarily in good weather. The spacious, closed wheelhouse protects the crew of up to eight people from rain and wind – ideal for fishing in a large company. Moreover, you can get away from civilization: not to worry about the prospects of returning home, a durable welded body, a reliable Japanese engine and a voluminous fuel tank allow.

Universal cabin boat Buster Cabin

As for fishing itself, Buster does not have many competitors here: spacious cockpits (bow and stern) are convenient for working with spinning, and optionally, you can add a lot of equipment, and, by the way, not only fishing equipment. The list is extensive: from the cabin heater to the bow thruster. But even without adding anything, already in the basic configuration you get a ready-to-use product. Other advantages of Buster Cabin include the maximum area of the cockpit glazing, which gives excellent visibility, and a transparent hatch opening in the roof for light and fresh air. In addition, two berths can be arranged in the salon.

The model is presented in modifications with five different engines: from the budget Yamaha F150D to the fantastic V6 – Yamaha F250D. With the most powerful Buster Cabin, it is capable of speeds up to 81 km / h – quite a lot for a boat of this type. Despite its impressive size, the boat can be transported on a trailer without special permits, which means that the horizons for fishing and travel are almost unlimited.
