Business program "Moscow Boat Show 2019"
Only a few days remain before the start of one of the main events for professionals of the yachting business and lovers of active leisure – the 12th international exhibition of boats and yachts "Moscow Boat Show". The event will take place from 6 to 10 March in the Crocus Expo (Pavilion 3, Hall 14).
For the 12th time, the Moscow Boat Show will unite representatives of the yachting business, lovers of water-motor equipment and fans of leisure in the water. According to preliminary estimates, the exhibition area will be 18,000 square meters. m, and the number of visitors will exceed 16,000 people.
This year, the companies are preparing for the guests an impressive exhibition, one of the most striking models of which will be Azimut Flybridge 55 (from Ultraboats) and Galeon 500 FLY (from Smart Yachts) yachts, enchanting with a combination of elegant beauty and impressive technical characteristics. The exhibition will also feature light, maneuverable boats and boats for sports and leisure activities, including Merry Fisher 1095, Scarab 215 ID (from Prestige Yachts) and many others.
Business program
In 2019, in the framework of the business program of the exhibition, the issues of yachting development and adaptation of foreign experience, logistics, design, regattas and charter in Russia, as well as other aspects of the industry will be discussed.
The leading speakers of the Moscow Boat Show will be professional yachtsmen, athletes, journalists and other honored industry experts: Mikhail Kozhukhov, a Soviet and Russian journalist, TV / radio host, screenwriter, producer, traveler; Rostislav Novoderezhkin, professor, doctor of technical sciences, master of sports of the USSR; Marina Shchegoleva, yachtswoman, vice-president of the IPPF on development, organizer of regattas, founder of the agency of city festivals; Maxim Sofel, yachtsman, organizer of the Orange Cup; Alexey Demchenko, professional yachtsman; Konstantin Pistsov, professional yachtsman and instructor; Leonid Kleiman, Director of Sailing University 1’Russian.
March 7 at the exhibition "Day of dialogue with sailors." One of the speakers will be Ilya Bushtukhin – a maritime lawyer, yacht captain, manager of mega yachts, yacht surveyor, who, in his report on "The main legal problems hindering the development of yachting in Russia", will touch upon very important issues for the industry.
March 8 will be held under the slogan "Fashion, Style, Siesta." Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with new trends in yacht fashion. World leaders in the manufacture of clothing for sailing and outdoor activities – the company Helen Ocean and Slam (Italy) – will hold a fashion show of yacht clothing and accessories.
March 9 at the exhibition – "Design Day". Albert Nazarov, shipbuilding engineer, Ph.D., FRINA, CEng, MSNAME, director of Albatross Marine Design, will tell about the peculiarities of catamaran yacht design. During the meeting, the expert will consider the experience of creating projects of pleasure motor and sailing ships on a catamaran platform, as well as lead examples of projects implemented in Russia and abroad. His other report – “Water Taxis and Small Passenger Ships: Design Features” – takes into account the demand for such types of transport in most “water” capitals and in world resorts.
On the same day, one of the most anticipated events will take place – a meeting with the founder of the largest charter company in the world Dream Yacht Charter – Loïc Bonnet (Loic Bonnet), during which he will share his success story.
The main theme of the final day, March 10, will be "Exhibitions and Yachting."
The Moscow Region Sailing Federation will hold a round table "Modern trends in the design and construction of sailing yachts, sails and equipment", which will be attended by Russian manufacturers of sailing yachts, boats, equipment and equipment.
For the first time, a presentation of the social project “Under the Sails of Hope” (organized by the Russian Sports Union of the Disabled and the All-Russian Society of the Disabled) will be held as part of the Moscow Boat Show. The project is implemented using the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, among its goals is the organization of water expeditions with the participation of disabled people on the replicas of the old Pomor sailing ships and modern sailing yachts on the Onega and Ladoga lakes, the White Sea.
"Moscow Boat Show" helps to attract young people to sailing. Training, short-distance racing and demonstration rides of students of Moscow children's sports schools in the outdoor pool, held under the auspices of the Committee of mass, student and amateur sports, vividly show visitors the benefits of water activities.
