On lake Schwerin in Germany, the second European championship, “the Finn-masters” among riders older than 40 years.
As we mentioned, this year the competition involved 65 riders from 16 countries, while Russia is represented with 10 athletes. Among which, unfortunately, there is no multiple world champion and the winner of the first championship of Vladimir Krutskikh.
For three days there were 6 races (two a day). The leader Filipe Silva – 16 points (with one outlier). Two more points from Dutchman Bas de Waal. These two are far from the dense group of persecutors: so, occupying the third place of the German andré Bozena 34 points.
Best of Russians – Felix Denikaev – at the 10th place (60 points). Alexander Banko – 24th (102 points).
