      Baltic Yacht Week 2019
From July 10 to July 17 the main maritime festival of the Northern Capital “Baltic Yacht Week” will take place. This year the event is held for the third time in a row. By tradition, the main program of the Week will unfold at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress.

Baltic Yacht Week 2019

The event takes place within the framework of the St. Petersburg Maritime Assembly. Organizers: St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee, St. Petersburg Sailing Union.

The Baltic Yacht Week festival is designed to support the status of St. Petersburg as the custodian of Russia's main maritime traditions, increase attention to yachting in the city on the Neva and, most importantly, show sailing culture in all its diversity to city residents and guests. In the coming years, the Baltic Yacht Week is expected to be among the ten largest maritime holidays in the world. The event has been held annually since 2017. In 2018, more than 100 thousand people visited the festival events.

“The Baltic Yacht Week is the largest sailing event in St. Petersburg and one of the most iconic in Russia. The festival reveals the theme of the sail from various angles. A rich cultural, educational, entertaining, sports and business program will await residents and guests of the city on water and on land, ”comments Sergey Alekseev, President of the St. Petersburg Sailing Union.

The festival's partner is the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.
