Taiwanese manufacturer of superyachts from 20 to 47 meters Ocean Alexander suddenly decided to explore the emerging niche of small motor yachts with outboard motors. Without thinking, the project of 13.7-meter (45-foot) crumbs and called: 45 Divergence, that is, the “discrepancy,” “discrepancy,” “discrepancy”. Her debut is scheduled for an exhibition in Miami in February 2019.

“Segment 12-15 meter boats are really popular. We were thinking about this project three years ago, but then the time for him was wrong,” explains Vice President of marketing Ocean Alexander Doleski Sally (Sally Doleski).

The right time has come now. Divergence is being built at the shipyard in Merritt island (Florida, USA), which opened in 2016, to create a 20-metre projects of the company. Once in early summer, Sea Ray announced the closure of their shipyard in Merritt island and four hundred professionals were left without a draft, Ocean Alexander chose to use this source of labor.

In the design of Divergence there is the influence of “older sisters” from Ocean Alexander. More likely, perhaps, is evident in the cockpit area, where folding walls expand the space, opening views to the open sea that can be enjoyed during lunch in the fresh air. Retractable ladder hidden in the flip side, make this zone a comfortable area for children to play in the water and near the water.

It is planned that at the request of the owner of the boat are equipped with fishing equipment. In this case, the transom appears the brackets for the rods, and the design of the deck will become more utilitarian: the creators refuse to offer a wood finish.

Spacious — as far as possible on such a small boat — cabin under the deck as needed can serve as a bedroom, then the living room. In the bow area, guests will find a shower cubicle. Probably, from the point of view of convenience, this space will take the best offer a company accustomed to designing superyachts.

According to Dolecki, the company’s clients have already expressed interest in the new model.
