9 may, Amsterdam hosted the ceremony of awarding the annual prize of the World Superyachts Awards 2015. The festive evening brought together leading planners, designers, shipbuilders and owners of super-yachts, as well as industry representatives. Main honors took Grace E, named “Motor yacht of the year” and the best motor yacht with a displacement of from 1300 MT to 2999 MT length up to 75m, as well as WinWin – “Sailing yacht of the year” and best sailing yacht with a length of from 30m to 44.99 m.
World Superyachts Awards was founded in 2005 as a fully unbiased and fair award. Nominations are awarded to sailing and motor super yachts in a range of different sizes and classes – a new, restored or converted. The winners are chosen by an independent jury.
