32-foot ketch “Power of Siberia”, which in mid-October, ran aground in Palma de Mallorca, finally managed to budge. For a long time operations were hampered by strong waves, where the ship during a stop on two anchors and demolished in a storm on rocks close to the promenade of Paseo Maritimo. Now the boat is waiting for repair at the shipyard STP Shipyard Palma, whose docks are among the best in Europe.
“Power of Siberia” went from Turkey through the Mediterranean sea in the North Atlantic. The yacht was expected to reach St. Petersburg in November. In Palma de Mallorca as the ship got up to fix a hydraulics — change broken hose. The team completed repairs on 8 October.
Yacht Kestrel 106 was built in 2012 by the Turkish shipyard Aganlar Boatyard design Ron Holland (Ron Holland). In 2017 it for 1.6 million euros was bought by the Deputy of legislative Assembly Valery Kokorin.
