International investment holding company Oxbridge SE bought a large part of a controlling stake in the shipyard Jetten Jachtbouw. Due to this being besieged by creditors, the Dutch manufacturer of motor yachts could finally relieved to announce that it is again “business as usual”. The management of the dockyard will remain the same. The changes will affect only the post of Executive Director, which will take Copal Francois (François Koopal).
“The production crew Jetten delighted with this new opportunity,” reads a statement on the website of the company.
The shipyard exists since 1997, but lately she’s been going well, and early this year she was struggling with payments to its creditors. This is despite the fact that in 2015 and 2017 boat Jetten won the title of European Motor Boat of the Year.
However, the management of the shipyard from the outset, excluded the possibility of a future bankruptcy of the company.
Book orders Jetten scheduled until mid-2020. As before, the company will focus on the production of luxury steel boats up to 15 meters fast aluminum yachts up to 30 meters, as well as on individual projects.
