Conditions this time were far more comfortable than the day before. Moderate strength breeze, a bright sun – great! Nothing reminded of that storm which the fleet of the regatta came in Wednesday and which sank a yacht race leader Peter Gilmour.
The yacht, as we already reported, quickly lifted from the bottom, and suddenly she was in a very good condition. So Gilmore has promised to return to race today, Friday.
In the meantime, the sum of the two days and four races (with one outlier), became the top British GBR820 with skipper Grant Gordon – 11 points. Two more points from RUS27 Anatoliy Loginov. In third place is Monaco MON2 Jens Ratsaka.
But on what ground other Russian boats:
8. RUS76 (Dmitry Samokhin) – 20 points. …12. RUS34 (Basil Senators) – 27. …22. RUS35 (Victor Fogelson) – 53.
