The editors of magazine Yacht Russia congratulates Andrei Kislov happy birthday! Today he was 82 years old. And now in its seventh decade as he celebrates the devotional service of the sail!
Andrei, this is definitely one of the most prominent figures of the Soviet and Russian sailing: it is one of those to whom the epithet “legendary” applies in full.
Judge for yourself. Sailing started at age 12. And in 1963, as the youngest participant of the championship of the country, fulfilled the standard of master of sports of the USSR as a steering.
An amazing, eventful sporting life. Just imagine: Andrei Kislov a quarter of a century was at the head of the sailing Federation of the USSR and almost the same in the positions of Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee of the International sailing Federation. Plus – the work of the organizing Committee of the Olympic games-80 and at the State Institute of physical culture.
Recall: A. Kislov is one of the nominees for the tenth anniversary of the National award “Sailor of the year” in the category “For contribution to the development of sailing”.
