As we reported in Semyanuvka (Podlasie, Poland) from 1 to 9 February held the world championship and Europe on buernomu sport in the class DN of bronze and gold medals respectively won the pupil of the yacht club “Seven feet” 23-year-old Anton Didenko.
As pointed out by the website of the WFTU with reference to the press service of the yacht club “Seven feet”, this is the highest result achieved by Russian athletes, and he belongs to a sportsman from Vladivostok.
12 Feb Anton Didenko returned to Vladivostok. At the airport he was met by father, wife and daughter, the leadership of the yacht club “Seven feet”, yachtsmen, members of the media.
– There were many training sessions and in the littoral, and in Europe. And it gave the result, – said Anton Didenko. – My main competitor was an Estonian athlete. In Estonia, a very strong ice-yacht school in the country purposefully develop this sport. At the European championship among adults this athlete took the 6th place in the gold fleet. It is 30 positions ahead of me. I took third place in the silver fleet. That is, it is a very serious contender, even for adult participants.
The main conditions for success: training and materiel. However, the hardware was leased, I went the sails and skates, but it was perfect under the conditions.
As for the weather conditions in the village Semyanuvka, which hosted the regatta, and there is much warmer than in Vladivostok: in the morning the ice a little grasp, and in the afternoon was mush. It snowed almost every day, so the organizers could not find the reservoir for the competitions. In the end, after a long search, chose a lake near the village Semyanuvka.
For me these competitions are career – the most serious. Junior age I have finished, I am 23 years old, and next year I plan to participate in adult competitions, at European and world Championships, which take place usually in America. Task – to get into the top five.
