Baltic Yachts build a 44.6-foot custom sailing cruiser

A year Baltic Yachts will start construction of the sloop Baltic 146. The ship will be the third largest sailing yacht Finnish shipyard.

Design a 44.6-foot building was developed in Judel/Vrolijk & Co. The boat will provide a lifting keel, which will reduce draught from a maximum of 5.9 to 3.4 meters.

Design with dual wheel complemented by a forward-facing pull the screw which actuates the engine power of 550 HP Screw rotary, so to use the thruster there is no need.

Technical characteristics of the craft have not been disclosed. It is known that the yacht is build from ultra-modern materials.

“We have a great opportunity to further develop concept of high-performance and multi-purpose yacht, and this is exactly what our Studio and the shipyard Baltic Yachts have received international recognition”, — said the representative of design Bureau of Rolf Vrolijk (Rolf Vrolijk).

On the ship a width of 9.35 metres and can accommodate eight passengers and seven crew members. At amidships and at the bow equip the owner’s stateroom and three double guest cabins and four cabins for crew members are located aft.

The area is comfortable in December-salon which can be expanded using biminitop protecting part of the open deck. Separate bimini is stretched over the control stations.

Other details will be announced in February 2019, when it will begin construction of the yacht.

Delivery of the sailboat is scheduled for 2021.

Previously, the company presented the sloop Baltic 142 Custom, which will be launched in 2019.
